The 2024 Kia EV6 is an all-electric midsize crossover SUV that continues to be a key part of Kia’s “Plan S” strategy for electrification. Offered in multiple trim levels, the EV6 provides a range of battery and powertrain options to suit different driving needs and budgets. Moreover, it serves as an important model in Kia’s push toward sustainable mobility.
What’s new for 2024
For the 2024 model year, the EV6 lineup sees some notable updates. Firstly, the Light trim now gets the larger 77.4kWh battery pack, available in both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (eAWD) configurations. Additionally, the EV6 GT’s EPA-estimated all-electric range has been improved by 12 miles to 218 miles. Furthermore, across all models, charge port lighting and charge door marking are now standard features to facilitate easier access.
Exterior Design
The EV6 maintains its distinctive crossover styling with a sleek, aerodynamic profile. Depending on the trim, it rides on 19-inch, 20-inch, or 21-inch alloy wheels. LED headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights are standard across the board. However, the GT-Line and GT trims feature sportier design elements like unique lower fascias and body-color accents.
Interior and Cargo Space
Inside, the EV6 offers a modern and well-appointed cabin with seating for up to five passengers. Standard features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a wireless phone charger. In addition, higher trims add niceties like an augmented reality head-up display, premium audio, and more upscale materials like suede and vegan leather.
Cargo space is generous, with 24.4 cubic feet behind the second row and 50.2 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down. Consequently, the EV6 offers ample room for storing luggage or larger items.
Battery and Range
The 2024 EV6 is available with two battery pack options: a 58.0kWh pack (Light RWD only) and a 77.4kWh pack (all other trims). Furthermore, the smaller battery provides an EPA-estimated range of 232 miles, while the larger pack offers up to 310 miles of range in RWD form and up to 282 miles in eAWD configurations. Moreover, the range-topping GT, with its 576-horsepower dual-motor setup, is rated at 218 miles of range.
Advanced Tech and Safety
The EV6 comes well-equipped with advanced driver assistance systems, including standard features like forward collision avoidance assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keeping assist. Likewise, higher trims add more advanced tech like a surround-view monitor, blind-spot view monitor, and remote smart parking assist.

Pricing for the 2024 Kia EV6 starts at $42,600 for the base Light RWD model and ranges up to $61,600 for the high-performance GT trim (all prices exclude a $1,325 destination fee).
