2024 Tesla CyberTruck Profile

2024 Tesla Cybertruck

The 2024 Tesla Cybertruck is now available for purchase. This much-awaited all-electric pickup truck from Tesla is designed to be incredibly durable and capable of handling any terrain or job site. The truck’s exterior is made of ultra-hard stainless steel and armored glass, providing exceptional protection. The spacious and luxurious cabin of the Cybertruck is equipped with modern technology. This vehicle represents Tesla’s innovative leadership in the electric vehicle industry as they expand their reach into one of the most popular vehicle segments in the United States.

What’s New for 2024

The Cybertruck is an all-new vehicle from the ground up for 2024. Tesla is offering three different powertrain options – a dual-motor all-wheel drive version, a tri-motor “Cyberbeast” performance version, and a rear-wheel drive base model coming later in 2025. The Cybertruck ushers in Tesla’s next-generation battery technology and computing hardware.

Exterior Design

The Cybertruck’s appearance is distinctly different from every other truck on the market. Its angular, planar body panels are made from cold-rolled stainless steel that is incredibly dent, scratch and corrosion resistant. The truck also features Tesla’s armored glass that can withstand impacts from large debris. Overall, the Cybertruck has a go-anywhere, military-inspired look that communicates incredible ruggedness and utility.

Interior and Cargo Space

While the exterior screams utility, the Cybertruck’s interior is intended to be a comfortable, premium space suited for family trips or job sites alike. A large 18.5-inch touchscreen in the front and secondary 9.4-inch screen in the rear put key controls at your fingertips. The rear seating area folds up to create a massive lockable cargo area in addition to the 6.5-foot truck bed. With up to 120.9 cubic feet of lockable storage, the Cybertruck can haul an immense amount of gear and supplies.

Battery and Range

The Cybertruck will be available with two different battery pack options. For maximum range, Tesla is estimating up to 340 miles on the all-wheel drive version and over 500 miles on the tri-motor Cyberbeast using an optional range extender pack. Like other Teslas, the Cybertruck can rapidly charge at Tesla’s widespread Supercharger network, with the ability to recover over 100 miles of range in just 15 minutes.

Performance and Driving

With its nearly silent yet tremendously powerful electric motors, the Cybertruck promises exhilarating performance, especially in the top Cyberbeast trim. Tesla estimates the tri-motor version can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.6 seconds – putting it in supercar territory. The adjustable air suspension provides up to 16 inches of ground clearance when needed, along with high approach and departure angles for extreme off-roading. The Cybertruck can also tow up to an incredible 11,000 lbs when properly equipped.

Advanced Tech and Safety

Like other Tesla vehicles, the Cybertruck comes loaded with advanced driver assistance technology under the Autopilot umbrella, with the ability to automatically steer, accelerate and brake on its own within a lane. A suite of external cameras provides a 360-degree view of the truck’s surroundings. The body structure is also engineered for maximum safety, using Tesla’s rigid battery pack as structural reinforcement against impacts.

Pricing

The pricing for the different Cybertruck models are as follows: The rear-wheel drive base model starting in 2025 costs $60,990 while the dual-motor all-wheel drive model costs $79,990. The tri-motor “Cyberbeast” performance model is the most expensive of the three, priced at $99,990. However, these prices are before applying any potential federal, state or local EV incentives and tax credits, which could bring the costs down for many buyers. The rear-wheel drive represents the entry pricing point at just under $61,000. The dual-motor AWD comes in around $80,000, while the top performance-oriented Cyberbeast trim starts at $99,990 but will likely exceed $100,000 when optioned out.
