How calculated
25.6 kWh/100 km x $0.12/kWh / 100 = $0.03/km
Formula: kWh/100 km x electricity price per kWh / 100 = cost per km.
This estimates driving energy only, not total ownership cost. Actual fuel or electricity cost varies with prices, weather, driving, energy-source mix, and vehicle condition.
Vehicle charging
- NRCan-listed recharge time
- 10.1 hours
NRCan defines this as the estimated time to fully recharge the battery at 240 volts. The imported NRCan value does not specify charging power, connector, or a detailed starting and ending battery percentage. This is not a DC fast-charging estimate.
Daily driving and fast-charging reach
The rated electric range equals approximately 24.6 typical provincial commute days. This is a statistical comparison, not a prediction of how often an individual driver should charge.

Map distances
Range planning notice: The displayed reach starts with the vehicleโs listed rated range and is an estimate, not a guarantee. Real-world range can be reduced by driving speed and style, traffic, route and elevation, cold or hot weather, wind, rain or snow, cabin heating and air conditioning, passenger or cargo load, towing, tire type and pressure, battery age and condition, and starting charge. The circles show straight-line distance rather than driving distance; roads, detours, charger availability and a safe arrival reserve can further reduce how far you should plan to travel. Confirm your route, conditions, remaining charge and charging options before departure. Charging-station availability is not real-time.

What Transport Canada reports
Issue: Under certain conditions, the electronic door latches could stay locked after the driver and/or front passenger exit the vehicle. As a result, you may not be able to open the doors from the outside, or an occupant that's unable to use the inside door handle(s) may not be able to exit the vehicle on their own. Safety Risk: Doors that can't be opened from the outside could delay emergency responders from entering the vehicle. This could also slow certain occupants from exiting the vehicle in an emergency. Both issues could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the powertrain control module (PCM) and secondary on-board diagnostic control module (SOBDMC) software.
Recall 2025260 May 9, 2025 ยท Visual System Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display or to freeze when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display or to freeze when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the SYNC software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership.

Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 22S41 (Transport Canada recall no. 2022-308) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. Under certain conditions, the main contactors for the high-voltage battery could overheat. If this happens, there could be a sudden loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the secondary on-board diagnostic control module (SOBDCM) and battery energy control module (BECM) software.

What Transport Canada reports
Issue: On certain vehicles, the wrong over-the-air software update may have been sent for the antilock braking system (ABS). As a result, there could be a loss of power brake assist. This could also cause other systems not to work including the ABS, electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist and pre-collision assist. Note: This problem would cause ABS warning lights and messages to display on the instrument panel. Safety Risk: A loss of power brake assist could cause a sudden increase in brake pedal force and lead to an increase in stopping distance. This could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, vehicle safety systems that don't work could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the ABS software.
Recall 2023554 October 17, 2023 ยท High Voltage Issue: On certain vehicles, the software update completed by a Ford dealer during recall 22S41 (Transport Canada recall number 2022-308) may not be effective.
